Servings: 4-6


Ingredients:


Rice: 1 1/2 cups
Urad dal: two tbsp
Methi( fenugreek seeds): 1/2 tsp
Watermelon rind too pieces : 1 cup
Beaten rice( poha):1/2 cup
Salt to taste.
Water : 3/4 loving cup for grinding the batter.( y'all may non usage all of it).
Oil : to grease the tawa( skillet).


Method:


Soak rice, urad dal & methi together for 3-4 hours atleast or overnight.

Soak poha( beaten rice) for 10 mins ( but earlier y'all start grinding the batter )and proceed aside.

Grind the rice-dal mixture to a fine batter inwards the blender using watermelon pieces to it instead of water.Add H2O exclusively every bit needed if it becomes hard to grind.Once the rice is basis finely, add together the soaked poha too blend it alongside the residuum of the batter inwards the blender.



The batter should live on slightly thick every bit inwards fermentation it tends to teach a lilliputian thin..The batter has a faint pinkish hue.It is NOT brilliant pinkish or cherry-red inwards color!
