Cardamom: 2-3 whole,
Bay leaf: 1 small
Cashew nut halves: 1 tbsp ( optional)
Raisins: 1 tsp ( optional)
Onion: 1 medium, chopped lengthwise
Ginger garlic paste: 1 heaped tsp
Green chilli: ii ( optional) , suit according to your spice level.
Frozen peas together with carrots: 1 cup
Parboiled cauliflower florets: 1 cup
Salt: 1 tsp
Sugar: a pinch
Black pepper: freshly ground, 1 tsp
Cilantro : 1 tbsp ( for garnishing)( optional).

Method:


Heat ghee/ fossil oil inwards a sauté pan/ wok/ skillet . 

Add the cumin seeds together with sauté for xxx seconds. 

Add the cinnamon stick, cloves, cardamom, bay leaves together with cashewnut halves together with sauté for a xxx seconds.

Add ginger garlic paste, sauté for xxx seconds.

Add the chopped onion together with dark-green chillies, raisins together with sauté until the onion turns transparent. 

Add the peas, carrots together with cauliflower florets. Mix well. Cover together with create for 4-5 mins until the vegetables accept cooked.

Add the mutual frigidity cooked rice, salt, sugar, dark pepper pulverisation together with mix well. Reduce the flame,cover together with allow it create until the rice has warmed.


Garnish amongst chopped cilantro if y'all wish.

Serve hot amongst a side-dish of your choice, raita or roughly cucumber slices.
